User´s needs

Wants to know about my hard and soft skills and how I solve problems.

My Hard skills

Qualitative Research.

Creating User Personas.

Producing User Journey Maps.

Generating Insights from Data.

Empathy Mapping.

Creating Prototypes and Wireframes.

Usability Testing.

Identify a problem,

map out potential fixes,

iterate those possible solutions through prototyping,

test and refine those preliminary products, and

finally, deploy a finalized solution.

When creating a new design, it’s important to start with a wireframe. Wireframing helps to establish the basic structure and layout of the design, as well as gives an idea of how the content will be organized. Plus, it’s much easier to make revisions and adjustments to a wireframe than it is to a fully fleshed-out design. So if you want to save yourself time and frustration, make wireframing a regular part of your design process..

Prototypes are a close replica of what the end result of a product will look like, usually without code. They incorporate most of the final UI design and interaction that the finished product will have. Want to see an example of prototypes I have made click here.

Defining every avenue and path that users can take through an app or website.

My Soft skills

This is one reason why I became a UX designer. As a user myself, I can relate to feelings such frustration, disappointment when finding roadblocks. On the other hand, when I find a digital product that meets my needs, in a smooth way, and it is enjoyable, I go back to it every time it is necessary. Moreover, I will recommend it to others.

That´s why is easy for me to understand why I have to put on the user’s shoes and consider the user’s environment, primary motivations, fears, and goals.

When communicating with others I listen and respond as clearly as possible.

I try to be objective, concise, and supportive.

Effective collaboration is fundamentally crucial to the development of high-quality digital products and exceptional outcomes. Through teamwork and communication, organizations can produce outstanding results that meet or even exceed their goals. At all phases of the development process, it’s crucial to promote a sense of unity in the team.

As a UX designer, I understand it is important to be flexible to meet client and company needs alike, as well as capable of identifying changing client needs and providing flexible, versatile solutions that suit their evolving desires.

I am constantly searching for ways to improve the world around me.

This is another reason I braced for my UX design career, to enhance the lives of users (people).

How i solve problems

To solve problems is important to understand the context. I will actively gather information  such as data and with the  team.

To approach UX design problems, I follow the 5 stages of design thinking:

Empathize: research the users’ needs.

Define: state users’ needs and problems.

Ideate: challenge assumptions and create ideas.

Prototype: start to create solutions.

Test: try solutions out.

Examples of the steps I take to solve UX problems are:

Understanding the user is one of the first steps I take. To solve people´s problems we need to know the user´s needs and goals.

Building personas will help to “connect” users to real people.

persona

Design and test. Iterate to create the best user-focused product. Usability studies to understand how the user feels.

I create a mockup – a model or replica version of how a final product is going to look and feel to hand ou to developers.
